Again an amazing achievement of Zappass - Fortinet and Multicap.
3.500 visitors from 42 countries connected 5.200 WiFi appliances to the network. In peak hours this meant 3.161 simultaneous users and 700Mbps throughput.
Had the best WiFi connection ever! Has anybody experienced problems this year? I gues not, this is AMAZING

Last week the Metropolis in Antwerp was transformed in a location dedicated to the language of JAVA. The IT-fair Devoxx was organized for the 14th time and this year it was in honor of 20 years of JAVA. By organizing this fair they let the world know that this is just the beginning because in multiple lectures the progress of JAVA was explained but also the futuristic developments.

To make sure that all the visitors had the ultimate internet connection we were asked to demonstrate the power of Fortinet/ Meru for the 6th time in row. This year we were given an extra challenge; two more halls had to have a spotless internet connection so visitors could stream or surf the internet.
Again a giant success for us. The communication was flawless and all the visitors were able to tweet, mail or use the internet to talk about this successful event.
